Heritage Weekend, 11 – 12 September.
Warley Place was open for this national annual event and saw a good visitor attendance. Optional guided walks taking in the environment and history associated with the reserve were very well received.
Brickwork
During essential maintenance work to a dead oak tree just outside the western wall of the walled garden a huge part of the trunk demolished the end of the refurbished terrace wall. Fortunately no-one was hurt but the wall now needs extensive rebuilding!
